If the fabric is going to be the same and it still works then you have your answer.
In my experience they still heat up just fine. New to forum so late reply. Quincy assured the viewer there are no safety issues with putting a cover on heated seats. However he said the layer between the occupant and the heat source might reduce the warmth.
